WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Jim Banks (R-Ind.) introduced the No Tax Dollars for Encampments Act. The bill requires colleges and universities to disclose their policies for responding to incidents like demonstrations, riots, or strikes. It aims to increase transparency on how schools manage disruptions and ensure taxpayer dollars aren’t used to support environments where civil unrest interferes with education.

Senator Jim Banks (R-Ind.) “Many of our ‘elite’ academic institutions have become hotbeds for antisemitism and pro-terror ideologies. My bill holds these universities accountable and prevents American tax dollars from being wasted on institutions that act as safe havens for anti-American harassment and violence.”
